Ovarian Cancer Support Group (SCOCF)
The local "Lunch Bunch", a chapter of the South Carolina Ovarian Cancer Foundation, has been a lifeline for me. The women in the group are a source of information and support, and an opportunity to give something in return when new members join, or old members have issues that require support.These are photos from our June meeting. The group meets monthly to share a meal, swap stories and information. Our recent meetings have featured an acupuncturist, massage therapist and nutritional presentations.
The SCOCF Executive Director lives in Greenville, SC, but travels around the state offering guidance to the other support groups in Charleston and Spartanburg, SC. Janet Rigdon can be reached at (864)271-7377.
